چکیده

Abstract The recovery and recrystallization behaviors of the high-temperature ? -phase carbon steel during deformation strongly affect mechanical properties steel. However, it is difficult to evaluate such at a high temperature. This study proposes behavior low-carbon based on quantitative observation dislocation density vacancies in Ni–30 mass pct Fe alloy. alloy was used because its stacking fault energy (60 70 mJ m -2 ) similar that Uniaxial compression tests were conducted strain rate 10 ?3 s ?1 1473 K (1200 °C) for dynamic 293 (20 work hardening. process interrupted different values systematically investigate microstructural changes. changes hardening, recovery, obtained from true stress–true curves uniaxial tests. Microstructural evolution during recrystallization in hot rolled Aluminum Alloy 1050

The evolution of texture as a function of recrystallization has been characterized for hot-rolled AA1050. Samples prepared from a hot rolled sheet were annealed isothermally for sufficient time to allow complete recrystallization. The spatial orientation variation within the deformed microstructure of nucleation, growth and orientations of recrystallized grains is examined. The microstructural ...

Modeling and Experimental Study of Static Recovery and Mechanical Behavior of AA5052 Alloy During Cold-Working and Subsequent Annealing

In the present study, the mechanical behavior of AA5052 aluminum alloy during cold deformation and subsequent isothermal annealing in a temperature range of 225-300oC was investigated using the uniaxial tensile test data. It is found that by increasing the annealing time and temperature the material yield strength is decreased. The microstructural investigations of the annealed samples show tha...

Kinetics of Austenite Recrystallization during the Annealing of Cold-rolled Fe-Mn-Al-C Steel

In the current study, the recrystallization behavior of 75% cold-rolled Fe-22Mn-10Al-1.4C steel during annealing at 750, 770, 790, 810, and 830°C was studied. X-ray diffraction patterns and optical microscopy were used to characterize microstructures. The Vickers Micro-hardness test was used to characterize recrystallization kinetics during annealing. Johnson-Mehl-Avrami-Kolmogorov (JMAK) model...

Grain Boundary Evolution of Cold-Rolled FePd Alloy during Recrystallization at Disordering Temperature

In this study, the grain boundary character and texture of 50% and 90% cold-rolled FePd alloy was investigated during recrystallization at 700 °C. Electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) measurements were performed on the rolling direction to normal direction section. Kernel average misorientation (KAM) calculated from EBSD measurements was employed to determine the recrystallization fraction. ...

Dynamic recrystallization kinetics of AISI 403 stainless steel using hot compression test

In this work dynamic recrystallization behavior of AISI 403 martensitic stainless steel was studied using hot compression tests over temperature range of 900 C -1200 C and strain rate range of 0.001 s-1 - 1 s-1. The obtained flow curves showed that the hot compression behavior of the alloy is controlled by dynamic recrystallization. The flow stress and strain corresponding to the critical, pe...
